Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez - Santiago, Chile (December 2019)

On December 13th, 2019, students of CEMS program at Universidad Adolfo Ibanez partnered with WeExchange to donate over three overflowing shopping carts full of clothing, decorations, furniture, and blankets for Chilean charity COANIQUEM. COANIQUEM is dedicated to the rehabilitation of severely burned children all around the country.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers who supported the cause by donating their used goods and belongings. Our donations included 65 shirts and 32 pants! Together we minimized waste, gave back to our host city Santiago, and helped those in need.

Enormous thank you to our organizer Florencia Romano. Florencia is a student at Universidad Adolfo Ibanez studying Business Administration. She has studied abroad at Universita Bocconi in Milan, Italy where she also served as an Experience Manager at AIESEC. Her favourite place she has travelled is Florencia, Italy!

COANIQUEM is a non-profit organization, dedicated to the comprehensive rehabilitation of burned children, offering holistic treatments that involved plastic surgery, physical and psychological therapy—free of charge. Learn more about its mission here.

WeExchange is a global charity initiative for exchange students studying abroad to donate used goods & supplies to their host city's local charity. We minimize waste, provide to those in need, and give back to our host cities.
